PRIDE. A word chosen in the late 1960s by the queer community to push back against hate and repression and to encourage people to express their uniqueness, sexuality, gender, and identity. HELP USA celebrates the spirit and courage of those who fought then and fight today for LGBTQIA+ equality. The entire LGBTQIA+ population and their families are disproportionately affected by homelessness.
