HELP USA is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the HELP Heroes Award and invites you to join us as we honor them on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Tribeca 360 during HELP Heroes Night.
The award recognizes outstanding leaders whose work has advanced solutions to homelessness and reshaped how services are delivered to people experiencing housing instability.
The 2026 HELP HEROES are:
- Debbie Burkart, Managing Director of Supportive Housing, National Equity Fund, for more than 30 years of leadership in affordable housing, particularly her work to expand housing for homeless veterans
- Baaba Halm, SVP of Programs, Enterprise Community Partners, for her career shaping housing policy and practice, including advancing Home4Good as a leading model in eviction prevention
- Bob Hayes, CEO, Community Health Network, for his landmark role in Callahan v. Carey, which established the Right to Shelter, and for his ongoing contributions to our field
- David Healy, President, Sun Life U.S., for his contributions to improving health access and advancing Sun Life’s model of sustainable, community-focused investment
The evening will open with cocktails and food stations, followed by the awards program and a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind travel experiences.
