Baseera Khan Limited Edition Print Now Available for Purchase to Support HELP USA’s Art Therapy Programs

NEW YORK, NY (March 27, 2025) HELP USA has released a limited edition of only 20 prints by acclaimed contemporary artist Baseera Khan, now available for purchase. New Leaf, for HELP USA, 2025—a signed, numbered, and dated print—is priced at $2,300 (+ tax and shipping). Created expressly by the artist for HELP USA, the edition is inspired by Khan’s forthcoming ceramic mural New Leaf, commissioned for HELP New Leaf, a transitional housing site for families experiencing homelessness opening in Brooklyn, New York, in Spring 2025.

“This work is about transformation—how people adapt, survive, and reimagine what’s possible,” said Khan. “With this edition, I wanted to offer a piece of that energy—something collectors can live with while continuing to support the community that inspired it.”

New Leaf is the latest commission in HELP USA’s Art of Resilience, an ongoing artist series launched in 2023 to raise awareness and funding for the organization’s trauma-informed art therapy programs. Each year, HELP USA invites a leading contemporary artist to create a site-specific work that brings visibility to the crisis of homelessness while offering inspiration and hope to those living in shelters and supportive housing.

The commissioning program began with Derrick Adams in 2023, continued with Baseera Khan in 2024, and will feature Shantell Martin in 2025. The 2026 artist will be announced later this year.

In addition to the permanent installation, participating artists each create a limited-edition print based on their original design. These prints are available exclusively through HELP USA, with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting creative arts therapy for youth, families, and adults in New York City.

Khan’s site-specific mural New Leaf, will be permanently installed in the lobby of HELP New Leaf and formally unveiled in May 2025. The work reflects the artist’s ongoing exploration of personal transformation, migration, spirituality, and resilience—core themes that echo the transitional journey of families moving through HELP USA’s housing programs.
