William Baldwin

William Baldwin

William Baldwin is a native New Yorker and celebrated actor whose career spans more than three decades, with roles in films such as Backdraft, Flatliners, Internal Affairs, and The Squid and the Whale. On television, he has appeared in acclaimed series such as Dirty Sexy Money and Gossip Girl, building a respected body of work across both major studio projects and independent productions.

He has also used his platform to raise awareness around some of the most urgent social issues of our time—harnessing the power of storytelling to foster empathy and drive change. This February, he starred in the national theatrical release of No Address, a motion picture that follows the intersecting lives of people experiencing homelessness. In the role of Robert—a man whose sudden descent into housing instability challenges assumptions about who becomes unhoused and why—Baldwin delivers a deeply humanizing performance. The film is part of a broader campaign that includes a companion documentary exploring the systemic causes of homelessness and showcasing real-world solutions.

Earlier this year, Baldwin also narrated Fentanyl: Death, Inc., a searing documentary examining the roots and reach of the opioid epidemic and exposing the public health failures and corporate interests fueling the crisis. In addition, he supports a range of mental health initiatives aimed at reducing stigma, increasing access to care, and encouraging open, honest dialogue—especially among young people and communities too often overlooked in national conversations.

Baldwin continues to use his platform to spotlight urgent challenges and elevate unheard voices—bridging film and advocacy to promote dignity, awareness, and lasting solutions.
