On Thursday, June 12, 2025, HELP USA hosted HELP Heroes Night at Tribeca 360°—an unforgettable evening marking the kick-off to a year-long celebration of 40 years of impact. More than 300 guests attended the event, including civic leaders, advocates, and longtime supporters committed to housing justice.
Honorees included acclaimed actor and advocate William Baldwin; artist and activist Linda Goode Bryant, founder of Project EATS; real estate visionary and longtime HELP USA board member Arthur J. Mirante II; homeless services leader Nicole Richards; and global real estate firm Savills, accepted by Janet Woods, President of Savills North America.
“People just want to be seen. No one asks to be homeless. And we have a responsibility to see them,” Baldwin said, reflecting on the importance of compassion and visibility for those experiencing homelessness.
“Our mission has always been clear: to meet people where they are, help them stabilize, and support them in building a life with dignity and purpose,” said Nicole Richards, drawing on her decades of work in the homeless services field.
Highlights of the evening came during remarks by presenters Maria Cuomo Cole, Rob Robinson, Joslyn Carter, Dan Lehman, and Dr. Jeffrey A. Sachs, each of whom spoke to the urgency of HELP USA’s mission and the profound impact of the honorees’ work in building better lives. Attendees included HELP Board members Anthony Williams, Gail Cannold, Ignacio Perez-Pozuelo, Avis Richards, Eden Williams, Richard Sirota, Gale Sitomer, Yolanda Jimenez, and Atenedoro Gonzalez; and guests Joan and George Hornig, Molly Wasow Park, Christina Senia, Kenneth Cole, John Santora, David Greenberg and Brendan Gilmartin, Jack Hayflick, Bianca and David Simon, Mitti and Melissa Liebersohn, and Patrick Hunter, among others.
Proceeds from HELP Heroes Night will support HELP USA’s housing and supportive services programs, which reach over 30,000 individuals and families each year experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
