September 30, 2022 was the federal government’s deadline for submitting Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHVs). HELP USA continues to assist clients with outstanding applications and approved vouchers.
A total of 102 HELP submitted family and single shelters applications are pending approval. HELP staff is actively working to secure housing for the 108 clients whose EHV applications have been approved — 64 clients are looking for housing while 44 clients have found housing and in he process of moving into their units.
HELP anticipates an additional 210 clients will successfully move into housing through the EHV. At this time, 31 HELP clients have already moved out using this voucher.
