HELP USA is proud to announce our partnership with The Cooper Union. Through the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, HELP USA will host a new urban design studio. Students will learn about the complex challenges of designing affordable housing, focusing on East New York, Brooklyn, and The Bronx, the locations of HELP USA’s newest developments.
As part of the studio, students will evaluate our buildings and propose design solutions to improve the lives of our low-income and homeless residents. Guest lecturers will include globally renowned experts in architecture and urban planning, including HELP USA CEO Tom Hameline.
We look forward to collaborating with The Cooper Union to create beautiful and functional designs that benefit both HELP USA’s residents and members of the surrounding communities.
