On any given night in New York City, more than 11,000 single adults are homeless. This population experiences homelessness for many reasons, lost jobs, substance abuse problems, mental health issues. In each case the first and best intervention is housing. Housing provides a platform that enables individuals the stability to face other problems that led to their homelessness.

HELP USA operates transitional and permanent housing programs that provide stability to homeless individuals, prevention programs that stabilize individuals at risk for homelessness, and job training programs to enable individuals to re-enter the workforce.
