Join HELP USA Friday, April 18 to paint the kitchen at our Supportive Employment Center (HELP SEC) in New York City.

HELP USA’s Culinary Arts Program, located at HELP SEC, is an innovative social service program that trains homeless residents for employment in the culinary industry. Upon completion of the intensive training program, residents depart with the skills and certification they need to get good jobs in kitchens all over the city.   • What to Wear: Comfortable clothes that can get paint spattered
  • Sign Up: Email by 5pm Wednesday, April 16 to register

Driving Directions from Manhattan to Randall’s Island

Stay in right lane through toll and take exit on right a quarter-mile past toll (you’ll see a sign that says “Randall’s Island, 800 feet”). At the exit ramp, make a left and another left onto Hell’s Gate Loop. HELP Supportive Employment Center is about 1000 feet straight ahead.

Bus Directions

Take the 4, 5, or 6 train to 125th Street and exit at the northwest corner. Catch the M35 Randall’s Island/Ward’s Island bus and get off at the second-to-last stop (see this map). The building will be on your right, with a HELP USA sign.
