Yesterday, Street Soccer USA and the U.S. Soccer Foundation unveiled a brand-new community court at our East New York, Brooklyn location.

Once a vacant lot, the new field will be available to more than 300 local children—it will also be used for Soccer for Success, a youth development program created by the U.S. Soccer Foundation and delivered by Street Soccer USA.

Deputy Mayor Richard Buery, Brooklyn Deputy Borough President Diana Reyna, U.S. Soccer Foundation President & CEO Ed Foster-Simeon, and Street Soccer USA Founder & President Lawrence Cann led the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting, which was followed by a Soccer for Success program demonstration and inaugural youth soccer match with Red Bull star Dax McCarty.
