Mental Health Services

HELP USA provides mental health assessments and screenings to identify and evaluate individual needs. Trained professionals work closely with clients to create personalized care plans, ensuring the appropriate support level is offered. These plans may include counseling, therapy, medication management, and referrals to external mental health providers.

Our shelters and supportive housing facilities offer on-site mental health services. These services are designed to be accessible, ensuring clients have easy and immediate access to professional help. The agency employs qualified mental health professionals who provide individual and group therapy sessions, crisis intervention, support groups, and art therapy classes.

HELP USA recognizes the value of education and awareness in destigmatizing mental health issues and conducts workshops and training sessions to educate staff, volunteers, and clients on mental health topics. By fostering a culture of understanding and empathy, the agency aims to create a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable seeking help.

Mental health programming is a critical component of ending homelessness.

By providing accessible and comprehensive mental health services, integrating support within shelters, raising awareness, and fostering partnerships, HELP USA strives to address the mental health challenges faced by our clients and empower them on their journey toward stability and well-being.
