The New York Times highlighted this inexorable link between domestic violence and homelessness in an article titled, “New York Adding Shelter Options for Homeless Victims of Domestic Abuse” (June 14, 2017).

In addition to recent improvements by the City of New York to its shelters for victims of domestic abuse, the Times article also highlighted targeted support services for survivors of domestic violence, provided by HELP USA and other non-profit organizations in New York.
