Arthur J. Mirante II is one of the most influential figures in commercial real estate, with a career defined by transformative leadership and some of the most complex, high-profile transactions in New York City history. As Vice Chairman at Savills, he brings decades of experience guiding clients through pivotal moments of growth and strategy. His recent work includes securing a 200,000-square-foot lease for the Hospital for Special Surgery and a 160,000-square-foot lease for Banco Santander, along with representing major tenants such as the NFL, Mastercard International, and the National Basketball Players Association. His capital markets record includes landmark deals such as the $1.4 billion sale of the World Trade Center and the $1.8 billion acquisition of 666 Fifth Avenue.

Before joining Savills, Arthur served as Chairman of the Tri-State Region at Avison Young and spent two decades as CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the firm’s global expansion and increased revenue from $80 million to $1.2 billion. His reputation for integrity, innovation, and deal-making has made him a trusted advisor across industries.

Arthur also served on the Board of Directors of HELP USA for more than 20 years, where his leadership helped guide the organization through pivotal transitions, including the recruitment of current CEO Dan Lehman. He played a central role in strengthening board governance, introducing new voices and perspectives, and aligning HELP’s mission with its physical footprint by championing the relocation of the organization’s headquarters to a HELP-developed site. He supported key housing initiatives and brought mentorship, insight, and deep commitment to every aspect of board service—helping to shape a more diverse and resilient future for the organization.

Arthur holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of the Holy Cross, a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from St. John’s University. He currently serves on the boards of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation, and National Jewish Health, and has been honored by Lincoln Center, Covenant House, and the American Jewish Committee, among many others.
