HELP New Horizons provides emergency housing for families in 5 four-story walk-up apartment buildings, totaling 83 units. 

The majority of the households are single, female-headed households, with an average family size of five. Many of the families who live at New Horizons are new to the homeless system; most became homeless as a result of sudden emergency situations.

Approximately 59 percent of the families served at New Horizons become self-sufficientand move into permanent housing.
