Genesis Neighborhood Plaza is a four-phase project that combines low-income and special-needs transitional housing with community and commercial space, and is the first project of its kind in East New York. HELP USA intends for this innovative model to serve as a catalyst for economic development in a neighborhood previously cited by The New York Times as one of the most blighted communities in the country.  Genesis Neighborhood Plaza provides on-site day care, medical services, employment and placement services and access to a state-of- the-art computer lab for group training, as well as individual computers in each apartment.
