Phase I of HELP Las Vegas Plaza, the newly constructed Genesis Apartments, a 75-bed facility to serve homeless veterans opened in November 2006. The project is designed to provide veterans with the resources and services to live as independently as possible.  All residences serve homeless veterans.

Each fully-furnished unit includes a full bathroom, kitchen area, and sleeping area. All first floor units are accessible to physically disabled residents.  Each facility features an array of amenities including a fully equipped community room and support service area, central air and heating, lighted exterior walkways and parking areas, a security system for all building entrances, and additional wiring for Internet service in each unit.  Supportive services including Employment and Educational Programs, Life Skills Education, Client Case Management and Medical Services are available.

Following the success stories of St. Vincent HELP and HELP Las Vegas Veterans Apartments, the City of Las Vegas and Clark County awarded HELP USA with a contract and financial support toward the creation of a third housing complex, the Las Vegas Genesis Apartments at Las Vegas Plaza, which opened its doors to residents in November 2006. HELP USA offers comprehensive services in a unique collaboration with the Veterans Affairs Southern Nevada Health Care System (VASHNS) and its Community-Based Outreach Clinic (VA-CBOC).
